How to play
Ball Knower Trivia is two NFL dailies. Both are prepared before you arrive. The page reads the puzzle for that day. It does not invent one while you are waiting.
How do you play the NFL Immaculate Grid?
The board is 3 by 3. Each row and each column is an NFL team. Choose a cell and name a player who played for both of those teams. You get nine guesses, and a player can only be used once. The server checks the guess. The page does not decide whether an answer is right.
How do you play Player Wordle?
Name one notable NFL player. You start with a single clue and get another clue after each miss. You have eight guesses. The shared link preview does not include the answer.
When does the daily puzzle reset?
A new grid and a new Player Wordle go live at midnight US Eastern (America/New_York). The date on the puzzle is that calendar day. A puzzle dated after today stays unavailable.
Which seasons count?
Roster history runs back to the 1920 season. A player counts for a franchise if he played for that club, including seasons under an earlier city or name when it is the same franchise. Ball Knower Trivia is not affiliated with the NFL.
Can I play older grids?
Yes. The archive lists every NFL grid from Sep 23, 2026 onward. Grids dated after today are not listed.
Do I need an account?
No. You can play in the browser. An optional account puts your name on the leaderboard.
